Professor Michael Krische is the recipient of the first Green Chemistry grant awarded to a member of the University of Texas faculty. This grant was awarded to Professor Krische by The ACS Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable, which is a partnership of member global pharmaceutical companies with the ACS Green Chemistry Institute. The Roundtable is dedicated to the integration of green chemistry and green engineering into the global pharmaceutical industry. This award follows Professor Krische's receipt of the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award, the ACS Elias J. Corey Award and the Dowpharma Prize, all of which were awarded in 2007.
