The Spring 2014 Graduate Student Symposium Planning Committee (GSSPC) from UT Austin was awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) R13 grant for their upcoming symposium at the 247th ACS National Meeting. The NIH R13 grant supports high quality scientific conferences that are relevant to the public health and to the scientific missions of the participating Institutes and Centers. GSSPC's symposium is titled, "Elements in Transition: Is Chemistry Facing Revolution or Recession?"
