Congratulations to Dr. Michael Rose on being selected to receive a 2013 Young Investigator Award from the Office of Naval Research. Dr. Rose will receive $500k over 3 years to fund his project, "A New Hybrid Molecular/Materials Approach to Semiconductor Surface Passivation for Application in a Solar Fuels Device."
The Young Investigator Award identifies and supports academic scientists and engineers who are in their first or second full-time tenure-track or tenure-track-equivalent academic appointment and who show exceptional promise for doing creative research. The program's objectives are to attract outstanding faculty members, to support their research, and to encourage their teaching and research careers.
