stephen martin headshot web320x320pxThe BrightFocus Foundation has awarded a $185,020 grant to Professor Stephen Martin for his research to identify a new drug lead for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, through a mode of action different from currently available therapies. 

BrightFocus, a Maryland-based nonprofit that funds research worldwide and provides public awareness for Alzheimer’s, macular degeneration and glaucoma, recently announced a record $11.7 million in grants for some of the world’s most promising science.
