Summer 2014 Research Opportunity

Research Experience for Veteran Undergrad Students is seeking undergraduates for a research opportunity for the upcoming Summer semester at UT Austin. The program is designed for veterans who have served in the armed forces. The student will be mentored by a postdoc or graduate student during the summer semester (typically 2 months) and perform research on organic synthesis. The research project involves new catalytic reaction development and synthesis of anti-cancer molecules. A stipend of $4,000 is available.

Veterans should have successfully completed either CH 320M or CH 328. An interested student will need to submit an unofficial transcript of his or her grades. Please contact Dr. Guangbin Dong at gbdong @ cm.utexas.edu regarding the research opportunity.
