Professor Xiaoyang Zhu elected as Fellow of the American Physical Society

Professor Xiaoyang Zhu has been elected as a fellow of the American Physical Society (APS) for his "pioneering investigations of surface molecular structure, electronic band alignment, and femtosecond electron and nuclear dynamics at molecule-solid interfaces, including applications to surface photochemistry, molecular electronics, and solar energy conversion."  Professor Zhu will be presented with this honor at the APS Annual Meeting in Boston in March 2012.
