The Alcalde Names David Laude One of "The Texas 10."
The Alcalde has released "The Texas 10" for 2014, which includes Senior Vice Provost for Enrollment and Graduation Management Professor and Distinguished Teaching Professor David Laude. The Sloan Foundation has selected Dr. Guangbin Dong as a 2014 Research Fellow. Dr. Dong is one of 126 early-career scholars selected by the Foundation in recognition of distinguished performance and unique potential to make substantial contributions to their field. President Obama has named Dr. Allen J. Bard and Dr. Andrew Sessler, of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, as recipients of the Enrico Fermi Award, one of the government's oldest and most prestigious awards for scientific achievement.
