Professor Michael Krische chosen to receive the 2010 Mukaiyama Award

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is pleased to announce that Professor Michael Krische has been selected as the 2010 recipient of the Mukaiyama Award from the Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan (SSOCJ). The award is bestowed every year upon a scientist under 45 years of age who has made outstanding contributions to synthetic organic chemistry. Prior recipients include Justin Du Bois of Stanford University (2009), Professor John F. Hartwig of The University of Illinois (2008), Professor David W. C. MacMillan of Princeton University (2007) and Professor Gregory C. Fu of MIT (2006).
