A group of UT Chemistry and Freshmen Research Initiative (FRI) undergraduate students gave research presentations at the Regional Undergraduate Research Symposium held at Rice University on October 25-26. The symposium provides students an opportunity to interact with distinguished faculty and win prizes for outstanding presentations.
Students Bruce Hua, Jessica Chan and Sneha Raghunathan received the Outstanding Presentation Award. Bruce Hua is a former FRI student in the Synthesis and Biological Recognition Stream and a current member of Professor Stephen Martin's lab. Jessica Chan is an FRI mentor in the Synthesis and Biological Recognition Stream. Sneha Raghunathan is an FRI mentor in the Supramolecular Sensors Stream. Congratulations Bruce, Jessica and Sneha!
