Chemistry Professor Paul F. Barbara, 57, one of The University of Texas at Austin's most prominent scientists, died on Oct. 31 due to complications following cardiac arrest. Dr. Allen Bard has been elected an Honorary Fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS) in a recent Board voting.
