Livia Eberlin Receives Changing the Face of STEM (CTFS) Mentoring Grant

Eberlin 170x200Assistant Professor Livia Eberlin is the recipient of a Changing the Face of STEM (CTFS) mentoring grant from the L'Oréal USA For Women in Science program. The program supports former L'Oréal USA For Women in Science (FWIS) fellows in their efforts to inspire the next generation of girls in STEM. In 2014, Eberln received the FWIS fellowship as a postdoc at Stanford University

Eberlin is using the grant to create the "My Science  My Life," a mentoring program for women undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Texas at Austin that are interested in pursuing a STEM career. The program will provide these students with role models to give encouragement or an example of successful work-life balance.
