Speaker
Hi! I’m Dalton Burch. I graduated from UT in 2015 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. After graduating I worked in a start-up for two years developing microRNA therapeutics. It was a difficult and formative experience but ultimately gave me the experience I needed to get my foot in the door at Thermo Fisher Scientific. I worked my way from Scientist I to Scientist II, and then transitioned to leadership roles as a Team Leader, and now Supervisor. Currently, I am the project manager and manufacturing workstream leader on a new project in Austin that involves large-scale organic chemistry synthesis of nucleotide triphosphates that will be used to make mRNA vaccines.
